MATH (MAX) HARRIS, 72,
former Detroiter of Kibbutz Ein
Dor, Israel, died June 22. He
served in the United States
Army in World War II and in
the Israeli army in the War of
Independence, the Sinai Cam-
paign of 1956, the Seven Day
War in 1967 and the October
War of 1973.
Mr. Harris was the husband
of the late Shoshana Marks. He
is survived by his wife, Vered;
sister and brother-in-law, Zelda
and Zelig of Detroit; children,
David, Yoav, Chanan, Lull of
Israel; three step-children; and
12 grandchildren, all in Israel.

was a clerk at the city of Detroit
Health Department and was a
volunteer at Sinai Hospital.
