The string quartet Concertante
will perform at Temple Israel's
Concert Under the Stars on Sun-
day evening, June 30, at 7 p.m.
This free concert is part of the
Schmier Chapel Chamber Series
and is sponsored by the Temple
Israel Treasures.
Performing will be Marina
Leonova and Tammy Sherman,
violinists; Rita Kislyuk, violist;
and Lyudmila Sovoleva on the
cello.
Those attending are encour-
aged to bring their own lawn
chairs or blankets. If the weath-
er is inclement, the program will
move inside. There is no charge.
B'nai Moshe
Learning Minyan
"Ask a question, any question"
will be the theme for the next ses-
sion of Congregation B'nai
Moshe's Shabbat Morning Learn-
ing Minyan for Adults, which will
take place on Saturday, June 29,
at 10:30 a.m.
Leonard Wanetik, member of
B'nai Moshe and author of Sedra
Study for Everybody, will lead
discussion of the Shabbat prayers
and service. Everyone is welcome.
The Learning Minyan includes
parents who are enrolled with
their children in B'nai Moshe's
LIFE (Learning Is a Family Ex-
perience) Program as well as oth-
er interested adult learners.

Congregation T'chiyah will in-
augurate regularly scheduled
Shabbat services in Royal Oak
tomorrow, while maintaining
monthly services in Detroit's cul-
tural center area.
The synagogue will officially
dedicate the Royal Oak Woman's
Club, 404 Pleasant at Fourth
St., between Woodward and
Lafayette, as its south Oakland
site, which will be used general-
ly the first three Shabbats of the
month. Beginning Saturday,
June 29, Congregation T'chiyah
will hold the fourth and occa-
sional fifth monthly Shabbat ser-
vices at the First Unitarian-
Universalist Church, 4605 Cass
Ave. at Forest, on Wayne State
University's south side. The
arrangement will continue on
an interim basis while the
synagogue continues its search
for permanent space.
