DISCOVERY COMES TO
BATS CHABAD TORAH CENTER

B"H

5595 West Maple Road • West Bloomfield

SUNDAY, JULY 14

Introduced to American audiences in 1985, Discovery's dramatic success in igniting in-

terest and commitment to Judaism has made it a popular Jewish adult education program.
Over 40,000 Jews of all ages and backgrounds have found practical and meaningful an-
swers to the most critical question facing Jews today, "Why be Jewish?"

Using state of the art computer techniques, as well as investigative methodology adapted
from the Israeli Mossad, Discovery debunks popular misconceptions about Judaism, sits
the computer onto the Torah to see what bytes, and contrasts the improbable survival of
the Jewish nation with the fates of the world's mightiest empires.

Discovery's lecturers include physicists, mathematicians, attorneys, doctors, psycholo-
gists, professors and yes, even rabbis, who present their ideas in an atmosphere that is
warm, entertaining, non-threatening and non-judgmental. Seminar participants discover
that Judaism has much to say to the contemporary Jew and that instead of being the road
to restriction, Judaism is actually the path to self-expression, personal power and enjoy-
ment of life in its truest sense.

Admission to Discovery, including lunch, is $20.00 per person before July 7, and $25.00
after and at the door. To reserve a place at the upcoming Discovery seminar please call the
Torah Center at 855-6170.
