Dr. Jaffee agrees with In-Line Skater magazine that skaters should remember to land on their knees when falling. The wrists should be at an angle out in front of the skater to avoid a stiff-arm stop, and the heel of the hand should be pointed down- ward with the fingers pointed up- ward.
