EDWARD LUTZ, 84, of

Bloomfield Hills, died June 7.
Until 1991, Mr. Lutz was the
owner of Kanfer Construction
which was a three-generation
business.
Mr. Lutz was the beloved
husband of the late Alice Lutz.
He is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Joel and Ju-
dith of West Bloomfield, San-
ford and Ina of West Bloom-
field, Eric Yale and Linda of
West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren, Kevin Lutz, Michael and
Michelle Lutz, David Lutz,
Ellen and Justin Lowenberger,
Adam Lutz, Hope Lutz; sister
and brother-in-law, Jean and
Philip Soffa of Las Vegas; sis-
ter-in-law, Frances Lutz. Inter-
ment at Clover Hill Park Ceme-
tery. Contributions may be
made to the Karmanos Cancer
Institute, 18831 West 12 Mile
Road, Lathrup Village, MI
48076-9806. Arrangements by
the Ira Kaufman Chapel.
