West Bloomfield, announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Elizabeth Rose, to Jonathan An-
drew Berkowitz, the son of Mar-
yin and Renay Berkowitz of
Portage, Mich.
The bride-to-be earned a bach-
elor's of science degree in inter-
national relations at Michigan
State University. She is em-
ployed at the law firm of Singer,

Jaffe & Farbman, P.A. and is at-
tending law school at St. Thomas
University in Miami.
The future bridegroom earned
a bachelor of arts in political sci-
ence and philosophy at the Uni-
versity of Michigan and a juris
doctor from Valparaiso Univer-
sity School of Law. He is em-
ployed at Ribler, Gilmartin &
Sanchez in Miami.
A May 17, 1997, wedding is
planned.
