S ome say it's Ann Arbor's best-
kept secret. It's where, from
June 15-July 7, you can in-
dulge in a nightly performing-
arts frenzy, covering the
gamut from pop, rock, jazz,
country and classical to com-
edy, theater and dance. It's the Ann Ar-
bor Summer Festival, a three-week,
open-air celebration of performing arts.
`This year, our main-stage
Power Center programming
ng
is a lot more creative than
in past years," says Mary
Oleniczak, executive direc-
tor of the festival. "We
changed our format, adding
a variety of performers, to
make sure there is something
for everybody."

For three solid weeks, starting on June
15, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival has
something for everyone: music, theater
dance and family activities.

If you've never heard of the Ann Ar-
bor Summer Festival, here's how it
works: Each night, for three weeks, a
heavy lineup of top national enter-
tainers perform for various priced tick-
ets at the Power Center located on the.- m
University of Michigan central cam-
pus at Fletcher and East Huron streets.
Meanwhile, next to the Power Cen-
ter is Top of the Park, a sprawling roof
