For 1996, the women are nearing their $5 million goal. Josephine Weiner, a past president from 1949-51, gave the invocation. The musical production "Give Me That Spotlight" was written and produced by Nancy Gur- win. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the singing and dancing, as did the performers. After the event, luncheon was served, and the guests were photographed for a time capsule, which will be opened at the 100th anniversary.
