ly appointed chief of the depart-
ment of otolaryngology at Grace
Hospital.
Dr. Marks, a Troy resident,
joined the Grace staff in 1991 af-
ter serving as assistant chief of

laryngology/head and neck
surgery at Johns Hopkins Uni-
versity.

Association in conjunction with
the Arnold Schwarzenegger Body-
building Classic.

Arnold Schwarzenegger with
Dr. Gregory Kramer.

Dr. Sidney M. Broder has been
appointed chairperson of the de-
partment of neurology at
Genesys Regional Medical Cen-
ter-St. Joseph Campus.

Dr. Kramer, a 1989 graduate
of the Los Angeles College of Chi-
ropractic, specializes in a tech-
nique called pressure point
therapy, which he teaches to the
public.

Dr. Matthew Weiss, vice pres-
ident of geriatric services at
Genesys Regional Medical Cen-
ter's Flint Osteopathic Campus,
has been named president of the
Michigan Geriatrics Society.
The state organization, affili-
ated with the American Geri-
atrics Society, helps provide
direction to governmental and
administrative agencies to en-
sure the highest quality of health
care for geriatric patients. Dr.
Weiss served as president-elect
of the society for two years.

fessor of medicine at Michigan
State University's School of Hu-
man Medicine and director of
neurological training at St.
Joseph Campus. He has been in
private practice for seven years.
