1 p.m. at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Jewish Community Cen-

The Boaz Siegel Cultural c--=
Fund will sponsor Barbara
Alexander on Thursday, June

"The Doctor Is In" is a week-
ly health screening available on
Thursday from 1-3 p.m. Dr.

sure and fasting blood sugars at
no charge.
Socials take place every
Wednesday at 1 p.m. Music is
provided by local entertainers
singing a variety of songs in-

Aish HaTorah
Concert Set

Dr. Lawrence and Natalie Lip-
nik will receive Aish HaTorah's
Shomrey HaAish award at a
concert Sunday, June 2, at 7
p.m. at Greenfield Village, fea-
turing singer and songwriter Pe-
ter Himmelman.
Mr. Himmelman will perform
a solo acoustic concert.
The concert also is celebrat-
ing a year of growth for Aish Ha-
Torah.

Flowers Planted
At JARC Homes

Volunteers will plant flowers at
10 JARC homes on Sunday,
June 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Teams of volunteers, which will
include families, children, teens
and young adults, will meet at
the JARC office in Southfield and
then proceed to assigned homes.
Team leaders are Sharon
Eisenshtadt, Beverly Frank,
Harriet Gelfond, Lisa Hersch,
Jennifer Jenkins, Pam Lippitt,
Paul Niser, Donna Pearlman,
Margo Rosenthal, Karen Sklar.
Harry's Garden Center in Hazel
Park will donate the dozens of
flats of flowers and tools for the
event.
Volunteer help is needed. Call
JARC, (810) 352-5257, to sign up.
