Gallery Tours
For Summer

Deanna Sperka, artist and lec-
turer, will resume her series of
museum and gallery tours of
contemporary art in southeast
Michigan. The tours include vis-
its to galleries, alternative space
exhibits, artists' studios and
museums.
The tours are offered Wednes-
day mornings, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
for six weeks. Tour dates are
June 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17.
You may attend any five ses-
sions.
The gallery tours present con-
temporary art from the artist's
viewpoint against the back-
ground of art history. For infor-

Workmen's Circle
Picnic, Program

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, June
2, Branch 460-227 of the
Workmen's Circle/Arbiter Ring
will hold its annual indoor pic-
nic at the Workmen's Circle,
26341 Coolidge, Oak Park. Food
will be provided. There is a
charge.
A celebration in honor of
the retirement of Rena Amit
as director of the Work-
men's Circle/ Arbeter Ring Nurs-
ery School will be held on
Sunday, June 9, at the Work-
men's Circle Center from 2 to 4
