Beau Jack's, It's been open since
1976 and considered the favorite dining
and watering spot by many people. They
are considered like members of the fam-
ily by Gary and dad Jack Cochran, who
owned the Westerner Beef Buffet on the
same site before turning it into the casu-
al Beau Jack's where people know each
other and enjoy the comaraderie of the
restaurant's family-type operation.

a Detroit dining tradition, serving Italian
favorites at their best. As years before, it
is again a 7-daya-week favorite, open
Sundays 12 noon to 8 p.m. Lelli's has al-
ways been noted for its big amounts of
food, but it is with the times in also offer-
ing a light side menu which has become
so very popular.

Road, Auburn Hills, 373-4440. Like its
sister restaurant in Detroit, Lelli's of Auburn
Hills is owned and operated by the Lelli
Family, which has been a tradition since
1939. The same excellent food is pre-
pared at this location across from the Sil-
verdome. Reservations are accepted for
any day except Saturdays, and are strong-
ly suggested for this newest in wonderful
Italian dining.
Red Devi, 15337 Fenkell, Detroit, 273-

8844. One of Detroit's dining landmarks,
it has been serving Metro Detroit for over
40 years, and is one of those sleeper-type
restaurants that give a lot of food for the
money. And it's good. The prime rib is
huge and a varied menu includes veal,
pasta, bar-b-q dishes, seafood, steaks,
et. People who have been there seldom
forget. Those who haven't, become reg-
ulars after the first time.
