Mrs. Marcuse earned her mas- ter's degree in social work from the University of Michigan and her bachelor's degree from Vassar. She was a past president of the Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, past president of the Jewish Resettlement Service and a board member of the Quarter Club of the Jewish Federation. Mrs. Marcuse was also very involved with the Ec- umenical Institute, past presi- dent of Temple Beth El Sister- hood, past board member for Temple Beth El and was very active with the Brandeis Uni- versity Women and with the National Council of Jewish Women since 1938.
