The scholarships are award- ed on the basis of a family's fi- nancial need and part of a larger initiative to encourage members of the community to join syna- gogues and temples while at the same time promoting Jewish ed- ucation. Funds for the scholarships come from the Allied Jewish Campaign. Scholarship forms are avail- able at the schools and at the Jewish Federation. Priority will be given to families who have current or pending membership in congregations. Completed ap- plications must be returned to the school by June 28.
