Team captain Marci Lynn took
three first places in Bloomfield
Hills Andover's girls track win
over Birmingham Groves on
April 30.
Lynn won the 800 meters in
2:44, teammate Evie Khlyavich
took the 1600 in 5:54, followed by
Becky Abel, and Erica Forst won
the 300 meter hurdles in 54.3.
The meet was delayed by rain
and sleet.
Lynn and Khlyavich partici-
pated on the winning 3200 relay
(11:10), and Lynn and Forst were
on the winning 1600 relay (4:37).

Several Jewish organizations are
sponsoring golf events in June as
fund-raisers.
Tickets are still available for
the 14th annual B'nai B'rith Golf
Classic on Monday, June 3, at
Edgewood Country Club in Com-
merce Township.
The event helps support B'nai
B'rith Youth Organization and
Hillel foundations on college cam-
puses.
Tickets are $250 for golf, lunch
and awards banquet. Dinner only
is $60. For information, call the
B'nai B'rith Council, (810) 855-

The sixth annual Women's
American ORT Golf Classic will
be held Monday, June 24, at
Shenandoah Golf and Country
Club in West Bloomfield. Break-
fast and registration is at 7:30
a.m., shotgun start is at 8:20 and
luncheon is at 1 p.m.
Cost of the event is $100 per

Keshet, an organization for
Jewish families of children with
special needs, will have its sec-
ond annual golf outing Thursday,
June 27, at the Links of Novi.
Golf, with a cart, begins at 11
a.m. The event includes lunch
