son is the great-grandson of Bar-
ney Kasoff. A party will follow
Rosh Hodesh services.
Jason is a seventh grader at
Hillel Day School. He participates
in ice hockey and roller hockey.

Stuart Ryan Sidman of Farm-
ington Hills and Coral Springs,
Fla., will be bar mitzvah at Con-
gregation Beth Shalom on Thurs-
day, July 18. Rabbi Nelson and
Cantor Greenbaum will lead ser-
vices.
Stuart's parents, Larry and Jill
Sidman, Janet and Doug Gel-
man; and his brother and sisters,
Aaron and Rebecca Sidman and
Jordanna Gelman, will partici-
pate in the ceremony. Stuart's
grandparents are Bea Sidman,
Don and Lee Romer, Julie Raupp
and Frederick and Gina Raupp.
A kiddush will be held at Beth
Shalom.
Stuart is a student at Ram-
blewood Junior High School. He
is active in school activities and
Boy Scouts.

A. Nelson and Cantor Samuel L.
Greenbaum will lead services.
Participating in the ceremony
will be Jessica's parents, Cindy
and Bill Turkish, and her broth-
er, Jason. Grandparents Betty
and Marvin Bresoff of Dunedin,
Fla., will also participate. A par-
ty will be held at Franklin Rac-
quet Club on Sunday, May 26.
Jessica is a student at Norup
Middle School and attends He-
brew school at Congregation Beth
Shalom. She is active in many
sports and especially enjoys bas-
ketball.
