and Martin Miller of Birming-
ham; companion, Estelle Fish-
man of Farmington Hills. In-
terment at Machpelah

SONIA POPOWSKE, 81, of

Southfield, died April 26. Mrs.
Popowski was one of the orga-
nizers of the Holocaust Memor-
ial Center and was very active
with the Shaarit Haplaytah as
its program director. She also
was a member of Hadassah and
Red Mogan David of Israel.
She is survived by loving
cousins and friends. Interment
in Woodbridge, N.J. Arrange-
ments by the Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

BEBA PUGACH, 68, of Oak

Park, died May 13. Mrs. Pu-
gach is survived by her hus-
H band, David; daughters and
• sons-in-law, Zina and Sam El-
terman of West Bloomfield,
Svetlana and David Elterman
of Oak Park; grandchildren,
James, Kelly, Helena and Irene
Elterman.
Contributions may be direct-

of Southfield, died May 8. Mr.
Reese was an attorney with
Hoffman and Wartel. He is sur-

and sisters-in-law, Raymond
and Roseann of Boca Raton,
Fla., Robert and Fran of Flori-
da.
