Celebration

The Reverend William Quick will
be the guest speaker at the
fourth annual Interfaith Service
of Celebration which will be held
on Sunday, May 19, at 7 p.m. as
a conclusion to Michigan Week.
The celebration, held this year at
Tempe Shir Shalom, 3999 Wal-
nut Lake Road, is free and open
to the public.
Susan Snow of Holy Spirit
Lutheran church will direct a
combined adult choir; Penny Sty-
er of Temple Shir shalom will
lead a combined children's choir.
The Reverend William Quick
is senior pastor of Metropolitan
United Methodist Church in De-
troit and has served as a parish
pastor since 1953. The Reverend
Quick has a daily radio broadcast
titled "The City Pulpit" on
WEXL, and on Sundays he can
be seen on WDIV-TV as a host of
"Open Doors."

Congregation T'chiyah will host
rabbinical student Toba Spitzer

tionist Rabbinical College in
Bryn Mahr, Pa., will begin her
new association with the syna-
gogue next fall for the fligh Holy
