Attorneys Division of Israel
Bonds, at a tribute dinner at
5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
in Southfield.
Judge Howard and Mr.
Patterson will each be pre-
sented with the State of Israel

their outstanding service to the
legal profession.
Judge Howard was appointed to the Oakland County Cir-
cuit Court in February of 1989. He is a member of the Amer-
ican Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association, as well
as a former member of the Representative Assembly of the
State Bar.
L. Brooks Patterson was elected Oakland County Prose-
cutor in 1972, a position he
held for 16 years. In 1989, Pat-
terson returned to private law
practice, but in 1992 he was
elected to his current position
of Oakland County Executive.
Mr. Patterson founded the
Rainbow Connection; each
year the charity grants wish-
es for children with life-
threatening illnesses.
