1996 Eagle Vision ESi

is looking for a full-time teach-
ing post.
"David does most of the actu-
al running of Bucky's. He has a
lot of management expertise
from his experience in the ad-
vertising specialty business,"
,= she says.
A graduate of Loyola Univer-
sity, Ms. Wyman moved from
Los Angeles back to Michigan
in June 1993 after completing
her bachelor of arts degree in
English, with a minor in Span-
ish. She plans on going for her
master's degree in English, but
hasn't decided on a school.
Ms. Wyman met Mr. Comis-
ar, also a native Detroiter, on
a blind date in September 1994.
A friend of hers, a kindergarten
teacher, set up the meeting, and
five months later, the two were
engaged.
"David and I have a lot in
common: We both like to travel
a lot, and we both enjoy reading.
We don't have a lot of free time,
but of course the coffee house
has been a great thing for us to
work on together."
Ms. Wyman hopes the suc-
cess of Bucky's will be part of
Pontiac's longed-for renaissance.
When
the Strand Theatre next
/-
door reopens after it settles with
the city over renovations,
Bucky's would like to knock
down a separating wall and be-
come part of the theater, she
says.
In the meantime, Mr. Comis-
ar is exploring the idea of open-
ing a second Bucky's.

Battle On
Over Scitex

Jerusalem (JPFS) — Scitex's
largest shareholders are at-
\— , tempting to maintain control
over the company by preventing
the majority of shareholders
from changing the composition
of the board and having a say in
the company's affairs, claims
high-tech entrepreneur Davidi
Gilo in a letter sent to Scitex
chairman Dov Tadmor.
The letter came in reaction to
Mr. Tadmor's letter to Scitex
shareholders which discusses
Mr. Gilo's hostile attempts to
take over the company and
claims Mr. Gilo's plans are in-
tended to serve his financial in-
terests ahead of the other
shareholders.
Gilo's letter was also sent in
/— reaction to thepurchase by Sci-
tex's four largest shareholders
— International Paper Compa-
ny, Clal Electronic Industries,
Discount Investment and PEC
Israel Economic — of more than
a million shares of Scitex in the
open market.
"These purchases seem sole-
ly designed to thwart my offer,
or for that matter any offer to
purchase Scitex," Mr. Gilo said.
