MOTHER'S DAY JUMBO BUFFET

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Sunday, May 12, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Pearl City, 27522 Northwestern Hwy.
at 11 Mile, 354-3700. The Oriental din-
ing imagination is captured in a moder-
ately-priced Chinese menu at lunch and
dinner. Pearl City Southfield's Sunday Buf-
fet, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and menu selec
Lions, offer customers a variety of ways in
which to dine. A children's menu is a fa-
vorite for family dining.

Peking Garden, 29875 North-
western Hwy., Applegate Square, West
Bloomfield, 353 7890. Szechuan, Hu-
nan and Chinese dishes are available for
dinners and carryout seven days a week,
Mon.-Thurs. 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Fri.
& Sat. 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday 12
noon to 10 p.m. The fresh new atmos-
phere of this awaited restaurant is ac-
cented by the fine Oriental food it serves.

Deli,

24555 VV. 12 Mile Rd.,

Southfield, 352-7377. This is one of
Michigan's largest delicatessen carryout
operations, but you wouldn't know it from
the size. And everything is homemade,
coleslaw, potato salad, chicken salad,
tuna salad, egg salad and much more.
Star cooks its own corned beef and pas-
trami, and the 7-day operation includes
a major specialty— beautiful tray catering.

ST. CLAIR. SHORES

Jack's Waterfront Restaurant,
24214 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores, 445-
8080. Overlooking beautiful Lake St.
Clair, and dining amid the colorful setting
of one of America's great leisure water-
ways, Jack's On The Waterfont is the epit-
ome of good dining in a relaxed, casual
setting. It is a seven-days-a-week opera-

tion and all seven days also include en-
tertainment for dining and dancing.

WALLED LAKE
Key Largo, 142 E. Walled Lake Dr.,

Walled Lake, 669-1441. Much tropical
fun is included in the dining experiences
at Key Largo, which is considered by

many as a Northwest premiere in wa-
terfront dining. Expecially so with the fine
culinary talents of Executive Chef Patrick
Dunn, noted for presentation of colorful

and imaginative dishes. The large menu
also features new style pastas, pizzas,
ribs, sandwiches, salads and daily fresh
fish specials. Its banquet room is available
for all events.

WARREN

Andiamo Italia, 7096 E. 14 Mile
Rd., Warren, 268-3200. Owner Joe Vic
ari's growing dining empire can consid-
er this East Side gem as the flagship
restaurant. Its Italian food, coupled with
the kitchen sense of veteran Italian dining
chef Aldo Ottaviani, range on the superb,
along with pastries homemade on the
premises. A banquet hall next door seats
over 400 and is receiving bookings be-
cause of the ambiance and a prime fac-
tor ... food as is served at AndiamoItalia.

WEST BLOOMFIELD

Big Daddy's Parthenon, 6199 Or-
chard Lake Road, 737-8600. This big
favorite is considered a phenomenon in
the restaurant business. It is busy every
evening, seven days a week, and lunch-
es are big also. Opal came to the sub-
urbs in 1993 and the flames have been
blazing even larger ever since. The Greek-
town in West Bloomfield is the pride of
Rick Rogow and Tom Peristeris, whose
large, expertly-cut lamb chops, special
salads like Tommy's New Idea Salad,
traditional Greek favorites, etc. are win-
ning huge amounts of return customers.
Jazz with Millie Scott and Kevin Crosby
is featured on Thursday and Friday

evenings.
