AJE Hosts
Art Session

The Agency for Jewish Educa-
tion will host mothers and
daughters at a session to learn
how to create Jewish origami, an
art form of folding paper without
any cutting or gluing.
On Monday, May 6, from 7-8
p.m. in the AJE library, Julie
Solomon, AJE Librarian, and
artist Seema Selmar will intro-
duce the art form and teach meth-
ods for creating origami flowers
for Shavuot and Mother's Day.
No prior artistic skills are nec-
essary, but daughters should be
at least eight years old to partic-
ipate. Contact Julie Solomon at
the AJE library, (810) 354-1050,
