ELAINE LEBENBOM will have the world premier of a choral piece of music in New York at Merkin Hall in the Lin- coln Center area, performed by the New York Virtuoso Singers. The piece was commissioned by Harold Rosenbaum, choral con- ductor. Ms. Lebenbom has a master's degree in composition from the University of Michigan and her compositions have been performed throughout the world. ALDEN M.
