Family Fun Day

This special family concert features Gitit Shoval, a rising Israeli star.
Hailed as the new spirit of Israeli music, Shoval is highly regarded for
her extraordinary voice and unique musical talent. Her stage pres-
ence has been described as "upbeat, dynamic and engaging".
Shoval will have the audience dancing in the aisles.

As an added attraction, artwork from the Community Jerusalem
3000 art and essay contest will be on display in the lobby.

Events include:

• Organized toddler activities for ages 6 months-2 years, including patents
• Organized games for ages 3-5 years , including parents
• Organized age appropriate activities such as rollerblading,
soccer and baseball for ages 5 years teens, including parents

Cost to participate is $3.50 per adult and $2.50 per child
(maximum of $12 per family) payable at the door. Refreshments will be
provided.

This event will take place in the Rosenberg Recreation Complex in the
Maple/Drake building. The afternoon will consist of structured
activities with JCC Sports & Fitness professionals.

English as a Second Language classes will hear a lecture on Jerusalem 3000.

day, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.-Free of charge. IRP is proud to have Richard
Roth, the Director of the Office of Israel and Arab–Israeli Affairs of the Senior
Foreign Service, speak on the "Peace Process" and "Jerusalem 3000." • Glass-
man Party. Thursday, May 2 at 1 p.m.- for members only. Enjoy our
Jerusalem 3000 celebration sponsored by the Jerome Glassman family. The
Sam Barnett Orchestra will provide the music; refreshments will be served. JCC

America Metropolitan Detroit District, will speak. Israeli appetizers will be

Free of charge. The music of this memorable concert by Sam Barnett's Or-
chestra will remind us of our roots — from the shtetle to the kibbutz.
