Mrs. Marcus is survived by her husband of 54 years, Sam; a brother in California. CHERYL MENDELSON,42, of Southfield, died April 6. Ms. Mendelson attended Wayne State University. She was a vi- olest and violinist; she played with several orchestras and studied with Misha Mishakoff and Nathan Gordon. She was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret Mendelson.
