That's because a researcher at Northern Carolina State Uni- versity in Raleigh has found that vitamin C in the fluids of the eye may help prevent cataracts. Al- though it hasn't yet been proven that consuming vitamin C slows or prevents cataracts, Dr. Chris- tine McGahan's research could lead to the use of vitamins as a means of delaying or even preventing some cataract for- mation.
