Blood drive at Temple Beth El. 8 a..m. - 2 p.m. Community Council Plans A Reunion A new photo exhibit, highlight- ing nearly 60 years of Jewish Community Council history, will be unveiled at Council's Board Alumni Renunion on Tuesday, April 30, 7:30 p.m. at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farm- ington Hills. The exhibit is being created courtesy of Kenneth D. Sidlow, senior vice president of D'arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. Mr. Sidlow is the son of Hubert Sid- low, who served as president of Council from 1971-74, and in numerous leadership capacities both before and after his presi- dency. The exhibit, created from pho- tos fround in Council's files, in- cludes pictures of Golda Meir participating in an Isael Inde- pendence Day celebration at the State fairgrounds, Detroit May- From the archives is the 1960s picture taken at the Jewish Community Council's 25th anniversary celebration.
