of Lyle and Jan Schaefer, will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on April 13 at Temple Shir
Shalom.
Dana's grandparents, Shy and
Rose Kaluzny, Karl and Rhea
Schaefer; great-grandmother,
Betty Slotkin; along with Dana's
sister Randi, also will be in at-
tendance.
A dinner in Dana's honor will
be given at Nifty's.
Dana is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Birmingham.
Her interests include soccer, vi-
olin, reading, writing.

JPM Plans
Activities

This month's feature in the Yid-
dish movie series will be on Mon-
day, April 8, at 12:45 p.m. at the
JPM. The Cantor's Son is a 1936
musical starring Moishe Oysh-
\—D er. English subtitles. There is no
charge.
The Annual Third Seder will
be Tuesday, April 9, at noon
sponsored by the Charles &
Frances Driker Fund. Cantor
Sidney Resnick, accompanied by
pianist T
an Zellman, will lead
this celebration. Buy tickets at
the reception desk at JPM. For

Markowitz, 967-4030. Tickets
need to be purchased by April 2.
Children, kindergarten
through 6th grade, can spend
their spring break, April 8, 9 and
12, at JPM in swimming, crafts
and sports. Program hours are
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For
