Basketball Finals

The 17-team B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization Basketball League
completed its regular season
March 24. Playoffs will start
4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 31, at
the Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center. The finals
rounds will be played at 3:30 and
6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at
the JCC.
First-round games March 31
include Chalutzim A vs. Strauss,
Posen vs. Greenberg A, Herzl vs.
Funk, and Jolson A vs Marx A.
The format will be single elimi-
nation and the games are open
to the public.

Gym Regionals

Jodie Rosenberg, representing
Oakland Gymnastics, finished
seventh all around in a March 23
level 10 state meet with a score
of 36.475.
The West Bloomfield High
School sophomore had a 9.375 in
floor exercise, 9.225 on vault,
9.075 balance beam and 8.75 on
uneven bars.
Rosenberg qualified for a five-
state regional meet April 13-14
in Bay City. She was the all-
around champion at the last two
Maccabi Youth Games, in Hous-
ton and Cleveland.
