JCC Offers
Culture Trips

The Jewish Community Center
will offer the following trips:
Beauty and the Beast will be seen
Wednesday, May 1 at 1 p.m. The
motorcoach will depart from
Maple-Drake at 11:30 a.m. and
JPM at noon. Members, $59;
non-members - $64.
Israel Philharmonic Orches-
tra performance will be Thurs-
day, April 18, at 8 p.m. at Hill
Auditorium, Ann Arbor. The bus
will depart from JPM at 6 p.m.
and Maple-Drake at 6:30 p.m.
Members, $50; and non-member,
$55.
The Michigan Opera will pre-
sent Romeo & Juliet on Thurs-
day, May 9, 10 a.m. The bus will
depart Maple-Drake at 8:30 a.m.
and JPM at 9 a.m. Make reser-
vations by April 15. Members,
$25; non-members, $30.
The Michigan Opera Theatre
will present La Traviata on Tues-
day, May 21, at 10 a.m. The bus
will depart Maple-Drake at 8:30
a.m. and JPM at 9 a.m. Mem-
bers, $25; non-members, $30.
Visit Branson, Mo. from May
30- June 5, co-sponsored by
Berkley Tours.
The Shaw Festival at Niagara
on the Lake trip will be July 23-
24. See performances of The Dev-
il's Disciple and Mr. Cinders. One
dinner is included. Co-sponsored
by ERP.
Sunset Boulevard in•Toronto
will be seen Aug. 16-18. Mem-
bers, $280; non-members, $293.

Kol Ami
Musical Shabbat

The annual Jewish Music Sea-
son Shabbat Service at Temple
Kol Ami will take place on Fri-
day, March 22, at 8 p.m. Special
liturgical music and songs for
Shabbat as well as a "Sermon In
Song: Jerusalem 3000" will be
featured.
The Temple Choir will sing,
and music by Jewish composers
will be performed on the flute,
clarinet, strings, and piano by
adult members of the congrega-
tion and by students of the
religious school.
