GREAT OPENINGS

The Detroit Artists Market has
published a cookbook, Great
Openings. The cookbook was pub-
lished because of the many re-
quests received for recipes at the
gallery's show openings. Some of
the cookbook contributors and or-
ganizers include: Carol Roberts,
Ruth Etkin, John Bloom and
Trudi Wineman. The cookbook
is available for $14.95 at Detroit

Ofer Reger will be a part of
the Seaholm High School play,
South Pacific. Performances are
this weekend and next weekend.
The Sisters Rosensweig, now
playing at St. Dunstan's Theatre
Guild of Cranbrook, has added a
special benefit performance for
the Cranbrook Kingswood Boys
Middle School 8 p.m. Wednesday,
March 27. The chairman is
Duffy Wineman, who is one of
the sisters in the play. General

"Pictorialism into Modernism:
The Clarence H. White School of
Photography" exhibit at the De-
troit Institute of Arts will be held
March 23-May 26. Selected from
the Coville Photographic Art
Foundation and the Warren
and Margot Coville Collections,
this exhibition offers a complex
view of the medium in the early-
20th century. Dr. Naomi Rosen-
blum will moderate a panel
discussion on Saturday, March
