Being a member of tie
sandwich generation put
me in a
real
pickk.

One son in college. Another starting a business. A mother with
Alzheimer's. Three days a week caring for my grandson. You think you're
stressed out?

It seemed everyone wanted a piece of me and my time. When would I get
time for me?

A friend suggested I get some answers from the Jewish Information and

Referral Service. Now, several agencies are helping me with day programs

and homemaker services for my parents, interest-free loans for my kids,
even counseling and respite for me. I never realized I would need the

Jewish community the way I need them now.

It feels good to know they're there. And to know I ' m
not alone.

A number of Jewish Federation agencies help at-risk individuals
and families cope with stressful times.

But the challenge isn't theirs alone.Your gift to the Allied Jewish
Campaign can give a break to people who need one.
