To commemorate Holocaust
Memorial Day, pianist Allan
Sternfield will perform at Ann
Arbor's Temple Beth Emeth's
Yom Hashoah service on Mon-
day, April 15.
Mr. Sternfield's program will
feature music by composers who
died during the Holocaust. The
service will begin at 7:30 p.m.,
with the concert following at 8
p.m. Louis Nagel, an associate
professor of piano at the Uni-
versity of Michigan and per-
forming artist, will make an
appearance.

Hillel of Metro Detroit Coffee
House night will be Monday,
March 18, at 9 p.m. in the back-
room of Lonestar Coffee Co., 207
S. Woodward in Birmingham.
"Bar" Mitzvah Party to Pool
Resources will be Sunday, March
31, from 3-6 p.m. at the Lodge,
2442 Orchard Lake Road. Nadiv,
YAD, and HMD will join for an
afternoon of pool and munches on
behalf of new Americans in the
community. Bring a gift for the
kitchen or bathroom ($10 limit).

Israeli Oneg Shabbat will be

The Post-Purim Bash will be

to grads and young profession-
als only and is sponsored by the
Jewish Law Students Union.
The Deli Dinner for first-year
students will be Sunday, March
17, at 7 p.m. at Hillel.
Israeli Dancing will take
place on Sunday, March 17,
from 7:30-10 p.m. at Hillel. Cost
is $2.50.
The Anne Frank Story will be
exhibited March 18-31 at the Ir-
win Green Auditorium, Hillel.
Volunteers in Action Hillel
and Habitat for Humanity will
join Tuesday, March 19, at 3:30
p.m. to build homes for low-in-

Jewish Learning Center's In-
terfaith Relationship Workshop
will meet for four Tuesdays,

"Did Right-Wing Rhetoric Kill
Rabin?" On Wednesday, March
20, 7:30 p.m. at Hillel, Dr. Galia
Golan, Israeli spokesperson for
Peace Now, Israel's non-parti-
san, grassroots peace move-
ment, will address the role of
right-wing rhetoric in Israeli
politics.
Shulchan Ivrit will meet

Cafe.
The Reform Chavurah's
weekly meeting will be Thurs-

MSU Hillel
Happenings

On Friday, March 15, Rabbi
Arnie Sleutelberg will be heading
"A Night of Jewish Humor" at
MSU Hillel.
This 2-for-1 Shabbat Dinner
will also feature Rabbi Sleutel-
berg leading a Reform Shabbat
service in the chapel starting at
6:15 p.m. Call Hillel to reserve for
this Shabbat dinner.
On Sunday, March 17, is the
Challenges of the Campus Confer-
ence from 12-5:30 p.m. in the MSU
Union building sponsored by the
Anti-Defamation League and the
Jewish Student Union at MSU. For

The Michigan/Israel Connec-

about "The Art of Pleasure and
The Labor of Love: A traditional
Jewish Perspective on Love and

Coyote Night for all Jewish grad-
uate students and young profes-
