Mr. Greene, a graduate of Northern High school, spent his working career in sales; he worked for 20 years for the Heublein Corporation, retiring at age 56. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, Craftsman Chapter; he was a third degree Mason. Mr. Greene was a lifetime member and past president of the Michigan Dnig Travelers Association. He also served as president and treasurer of the Phillip Handler Chapter of B'nai B'rith and president for eight years of the Franklin Knolls Im- provement Association.
