Design A Plate
With JPI

The Jewish Parents Institute
will offer an opportunity for
children and adults of all ages
to design a personal plate and
mug on Sunday, March 24, at
the Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
Plates, pre-paid in advance
cost $5.50; the cost at the door
is $6. Mugs, pre-paid in advance
cost $4.50; the cost at the door
is $5. Appointments will be
scheduled in advance from 10:30
a.m. to 11:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. to
noon, noon to 12:45 p.m., 12:45
to 1:30 p.m., 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.,
2:15 to 3 p.m.

tions should be made by calling

will be accepted.

Bubble, Zayde
Kinder Camps

The Fresh Air Society/Tamarack
Camps will offer four Bubbie-Za-
yde and Kinder Camps at Butzel
Conference Center in northern
Oakland County on the week-
ends of May 10-12, May 31-June
. 2, June 7-9, and July 12-14.
The overnight programs are
intended for grandparents and
their grandchildren ages 3-11.
Each family will have its own
room with private bath. Activi-
ties include crafts, outdoor
games, boating, swimming (in
season), celebration of Shabbat,
hay ride, talent show, evening
activities for the adults and pi-
oneer skills activities at the
Smokier Pioneer Skills Center,
a reconstructed frontier town of
the 1800s.
Counselors will be in charge
of the activities and provide child
care in the evenings. The food
service is kosher: There are open-
ings in the May 10-12 program.

Shir Shalom

will conduct a Passover work-
shop Tuesday, March 26, 7 p.m.
at Temple Shir Shalom. He will
address a menu in keeping with
