Melt chocolate. Combine egg yolks, sugar and coffee
(or water). Slowly blend chocolate into egg yolk mix-
ture. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold egg
whites into cooled chocolate mixture. Pour half of
chocolate mixture into macaroon lined pan. Add wine
soaked macaroons. Add remaining chocolate mixture
and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours, or until set. To serve,
unmold and garnish with a few macaroons, chocolate
curls or dessert whip. Makes 6-8 servings.
