A Kabbalat Shabbat Service
will begin at 8:15 p.m. Following
the service, there will be five con-
current discussion groups on the
overall theme "The Work of
Peace."
Alan Goodman, director of the
Jewish Family Service, will lead
a discussion on "Salom Bayit:
Peace for Our Homes;" Dr. Fred-
eric Pearson, executive director of
the Center for Peace and Conflicts
Studies at Wayne State Univer-
sity, The Pursuit of Peace Around
the World;" Dr. Felix Rogers, pres-
ident of the Cranbrook Peace
Foundation, "Domestic Tranquil-
ity: Peace in Our Cities and Sub-
urbs;" Dr. Maurice Waters, former
professor of political science at
Wayne State University, "Inter-
national Law — The Holocaust
and Other International Issues;"
Raviv Schwartz, doctoral student
at Wayne State University, "The
Middle East Peace Process: An Is-
raeli's Prospective." These dis-
cussion groups will be followed by
an Oneg Shabbat.
