Today I am
a man.

I always wanted a Bar Mitzvah, just like the
other kids. My dad wasn't sure I could do it,
but he said go for it.

It took a long time to practice my haftorah.
But my teachers were great. My brother
helped me with the hard parts.

The day of my Bar Mitzvah, I wasn't even
scared. Everybody was there. Grandma and
Grandpa. My friends from school. My
teachers. I don't know why everybody was
crying; I felt pretty good.

knew all along I could do it.
