LOOKING FOR MAX SOSIN?!

Is Sklar competitive against
the B'nai B'rith men? According
to League Commissioner Marty
Melton, "She gets right down in
the paint and rebounds with
them."
Sklar says it took a while for
the men to accept her presence
in the league. But now, she says,
'Tye proven myself, and they play
me like they'd play anybody else.
I don't get any special treatment."
Sklar is a point guard for the Pis-
gah II team.
Why does a woman play in an
almost all-men's basketball
league?
"It's a nice social thing," Sklar
says. "This is a good ratio for a
woman." ❑
