The Agency for Jewish Educa-
tion's Nirim Professional Enrich-
ment Program for Jewish
Educators will present a Cre-
ativity Night at the AJE —
"Wherever I Go, I Go to
Jerusalem: A Personal Journey
to the Sacred Center."
This text study and hands-on
Mandala (ancient map-making)
workshop will take place on Sun-
day, March 17, from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
to the AJE. The presenter of the
workshop, Jo Milogrom, received
a Ph.D. in religion and art from
the Graduate Theological Union
in Berkeley, Calif. and is the au-
thor of two books. She lives and
teaches in Israel.
Following the discussion, par-
ticipating educators will learn to
draw, paint, collage, sew, sculpt
or dance their own mandala
which they will then be able to in-
corporate into their classroom's
celebration of Jerusalem 3000.
Interested educators should
sign up with their school directors
by Sunday, March 10. This pro-
gram is suitable for all grades and
participants will receive two Nir-
im Units. For information, con-

A six-member delegation of young
Israelis from Michigan's Part-
nership 2000 region in Israel will
be in Detroit March 13-15, to tour
area agencies, meet with their
professional counterparts and dis-
cuss issues confronting Jewish
young adults in Israel and the Di-
aspora.
Following the three-day stay,
the delegation will attend the
United Jewish Appeal National
Young Leadership Conference in
Washington, D.C.
The delegation includes:
Hanan Shemesh, certified public
accountant; Shai Levy, business
consultant; Esther Bar-Sadeh,
psychologist; Ayelet Daniel, ele-
mentary school teacher for phys-
ically handicapped children;
David Bitan, teacher, and Shlomit
Myers, high school principal.

Young Adults
Spring Break

The Jewish Federation's Young
Adult Division will take a spring
break 9 p.m.-1 a.m., Saturday,
March 9, at the Joe Dumars
Fieldhouse in Shelby Township.
Tickets are $10 in advance and
$15 at the door. A free sports tum-
bler will be offered to the first 200
people.
