Farmington Hills, died March
3. Until 1979, Mr. Blau was the
owner of East End Laundry, a
commerical laundry and linen
supply business that supplied
hotels, motels and barber
shops.
Mr. Blau owned Construction
Financing Company that
arranged loans for new residen-
tial construction. He was an en-
thusiastic volunteer for Yad
Ezra, a member of Perfection
Lodge, active in Israeli Numis-
matic Society collecting Israeli
coins, a member and usher at
Congregation Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses.
He is survived by his wife,

law, Marshall and Ellen of Bing-

GABRIEL "GABE" COHN,
90, of Southfield, died Feb. 29.
Mr. Cohen went to the Uni-
veristy of Michigan undergradu-
ate and law schools. He clerked
for a judge in Gary, Ind.
In Detroit, he practiced law
for 55 years. In addition to rep-
resenting the United Thorough-
bred Trainers of America as le-
gal counsel, he served as
president of the Michigan Train-
ers and Breeders of America,
president of the Michigan Train-
ers and Owners Association and
vice president of the Horsemen's
Benevolent Protective Associa-
tion. He advanced the causes
