aggedy Ann and Raggedy
Andy, the Statue of Liberty,
even Queen Esther made it
to Congregation B'nai
Moshe's Purim dinner-dance
last Saturday night.
The mostly costumed
crowd enjoyed hors d'oeuvres,
the People's Choice band, a
dinner buffet and a costume
contest that almost got out of
hand with the number of cat-
egories that were continual-
ly added.
Jackie' Rosenblatt and
Marlene Zeitlin chaired the
event, which included party
hats, graggers and horns, and
balloons coming out of sha-
lach manot boxes. Queen Es-
ther hats on the tables helped
complete the Purim motif,
but nothing could compete
with the homemade and
store-bought costumes for the
occasion. ❑
