Maxine Berman
On Wednesday, Feb. 28, Women's American ORT
will host Representative Maxine Berman, who will
speak at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodcreek Officenter,
31275 Northwestern Highway, Farmington Hills.
New Director
For Cohn-Haddow
David Weinberg
David Weinberg of Toledo has been named direc-
tor of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies
at Wayne State University. Previously, he was a
professor of history at Bowling Green State Un-
versity.
Mr. Weinberg earned doctoral and master's de-
grees in history from the University of Wisconsin
and a bachelor's degree in history from City Col-
lege of New York. He also studied at the Jewish
Theological Seminary of America. He has lectured
and written extensively in the field of modem Jew-
ish history. He also is interested in German his-
tory as well as European social and intellectual
history.
Maxine Berman
Her talk will focus on "Learn-
ing Sucessful Methods of Advoca-
cy and Lobbying."
