za can be gotten square or round, plus
ribs, chicken, fish, salads, pasta and oth-

ing chicken parmigiana. Daily lunch and
dinner specials are 7 days o week and
private banquet space is available.

Alban's,

258-5788. An ageless favorite of Birm-
ingham, it is known for quality food and
fine service, offering a full menu and com-
plete wine and spirit selections. Alban's
caters b all dietary wishes including Heart
Smart! and is a complete party outfitter for
groups 200 to 500.

BLOOMFIELD MILLS

Beau Jack's, It's been open since

1976 and considered the favorite dining
and watering spot by many people. They
are considered like members of the Earn-
y by Gory and dad Jack Cochran, who
owned the Westerner Beef Buffet on the
some site before turning it into the casu-
al Beau Jack's where people know each
other and enjoy the camaraderie of the
restaurant's family-type operation.

Holiday Inn of Bloomfield Hills,

1801 S. Telegraph, Bloomfield Hills, 810-
334-2444. Plus being a popular hotel in
a sector of Michigan that has received
nationwide note, it's restaurant, The Steak
Out, is also drawing customer raves.
Chicken Jerusalem is a featured item (bone-
less breast sauteed with mushrooms, or-
tichokes, white wine and a light cream)
along with homemade soups and fresh
crisp salads. The tender and juicy steaks
are prepared daily. Breakfast is served
6:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m. - 2
p.m.; dinner 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. Its high-
lyqualified catering staff is well versed on
bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, weddings,
etc.

Steve's Deli, 6646 Telegraph Rd. at
Maple, Bloomfield Plaza, 932-0800. It's
slogan "A little bit of New York right here
in Bloomfield Hills," is indicative of the re-
cently opened delicatessen that has been
receiving much applause. Featured are
the old-time deli pastrami of yesteryears,
hot, steamy corned beef, homemade pas-
tries, Rominik brownies, apple strudel and
seven layer cake. Dining in is amid a com-
fortable, intimate atmosphere, and carry-
out is available of any item on the menu.
Great pride is placed on Steve's tray cater-
ing.

DETROIT

Lelli's, 7618 Woodward Ave., Detroit,

871-1590. Since 1939, Lelli's has been -
a Detroit dining tradition, serving Italian
favorites at their best. As years before, it
is again a 7-day-crweek favorite, open
Sundays 12 noon to 8 p.m. Lelli's has al-
ways been noted for its big amounts of
food, but it is with the times in also offer-
ing a light side menu which has become
so very popular.

Red Devil,

it has been serving Metro Detroit for over
