Please join us in congratulating Allison Gluck on her new position as Aerobics
Coordinator at the Maple/Drake JCC. Allison will not only teach classes, she will
be responsible for class and instructor scheduling, as well as program development.

Allison has taught aerobics classes at the JCC for the past 15 years. She holds
A.F.F.A. and I.D.E.A. certifications. For the past four years, Allison has been the
co-chair of the City of Hope's 'Workout for Hope" benefit aerobics program. One of
this year's benefit programs will be held at the JCC on Sunday, March 10.

Allison plans to expand the variety of class offerings to meet the changing needs
of Health Club members. She wants to keep the Center's aerobics program in step
with fitness trends while catering to a wide range of age groups and fitness levels. The
aerobics schedule currently includes everything from Step, Hi-Lo Impact, and Lite
Aerobics, to Yoga, Hydrotone, and Karate. Plans for the future include an expansion
of senior adult and aquatics programming and Callanetics.
