Ms. Carol Lynn Symonds,
daughter of Ernestine and the
late Howard Symonds of Wol-
cott, Vt., and Dr. Adam Scott
Cooper, son of Gerson and Car-
ol Cooper of West Bloomfield,
are delighted to announce their
engagement.
Carol earned a bachelor of
arts degree from Flagler College
and a master's degree in mental
health counseling from St.
Joseph's College. Adam received
his bachelor of-arts degree at the

University of Michigan, attend-
ed Wayne State University Med-
ical School and completed
residency training at Mt. Sinai
Hospital in Hartford, Conn.
The couple reside in North
Miami Beach, Fla., where Car-
ol is the clinical director of an
adolescent treatment facility and
Adam practices obstetrics/gyne-
cology as well as serving as a cer-
tified =i,eform Jewish mohel.
A jane wedding at Temple Is-
rael planned.
