ALAN HITSKY ASSOCIATE EDITOR he Metropolitan Detroit Maccabi Club has estab- lished a tryout schedule for February and March for Jewish teens to participate in the JCC Maccabi Youth Games this summer. While the games will be held at both Metrowest New Jersey and in St. Louis, Mo., Detroit will send all of its teams to Metrowest New Jersey Aug. 18-23. To be eligible, a participant must be age 13 by Aug. 1, 1996, and not have reached age 17 by that date. Individual sports will be competed separately by boys and girls by age group (13-14 and 15-16). Team sports can use ath- letes from both age groups.
