speak at the weekly Conserva-
tive Movement Torah and Lunch
program, Thursday, Feb. 8, start-
ing at 12:30 p.m. in the Max M.
Fisher Jewish Federation Build-
ing.
Lunch will be available for a fee
at noon and reservations are re-
quested. Participants are invited
to bring different Bible transla-
tions for a discussion of Parshoat
Yitro, Exodus 18:20-20:23. Rab-

For Teachers
The Agency for Jewish Education
will present 'Teaming Up for Suc-
cess: A Workshop for Teachers
and Madrichim".
This workshop, presented by
Jerry Kaye, will provide an op-
portunity for teen-age teaching
assistants and their supervising
teachers to learn teaching strate-
gies for the classroom. Jerry Kaye
is the director of the Olin-Sang
Ruby Union Institute in
Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and
head of the Union of American
Hebrew Congregations Youth De-
partment of the Great Lakes Re-
gion.
This workshop will be held on
Thursday, Feb. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m.
at Adat Shalom Synagogue. An
optional dinner will be served
from 6:15 to 7 p.m. Interested
teachers and madrichim should
sign up with their school directors
by Monday, Feb. 5
This program is part of the
AJE's Nirim Professional En-
richment Program for Jewish Ed-
ucators. Teachers will receive two
Nirim units. The workshop is free
of charge; however, there is a fee
