The Jewish Singles Network will
kick off the new year with a Super
Bowl party on Sunday, Jan. 28, 5
p.m. at Big Daddy's Parthenon in
West Bloomfield.
The sporting and social event
is sponsored by the Jewish Fed-
eration of Metropolitan Detroit
and is $28 per person. A vegetar-
ian-style dinner will be served; a
cash bar will be available. Ad-
vance reservations are required.

Creativity
Workshop

The Agency for Jewish Education
will host a Creativity Night Work-
shop for Jewish educators of
grades K-12, "Yerushalayim Shel
Zahav: 3000 Years and Still Shin-
ing - Creating Hands-on
Mizrachim." The workshop, which
will introduce an artistic technique
to help teachers celebrate
Jerusalem 3000 with their stu-
dents, will take place on Thurs-
day, Jan. 25, from 7 - 9 p.m. at the
Agency for Jewish Education,
21550 W. 12 Mile Rd., Southfield.
This AJE workshop will be pre-
sented by Ms. Elana Weinberg,
artist and teacher.
NIRIM participants will receive
two units. An optional kosher piz-
za dinner will be available at 6:15
p.m., for $1 a slice. There is no
charge for the workshop. Teach-
ers should register with their
school directors by Monday, Jan.
