Young Adults Sought To Lead Young adults who are interest- ed in taking an active role in building a stronger Jewish com- munity and developing their civic . leadership skills to strengthen the metropolitan De- troit area are encouraged to be a part of the New Leaders Pro- ject of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and the Jewish Community Council. The hands-on program aims to have 15-20 Jewish young adults learn about the social, po- litical and cultural challenges the Jewish community faces in the 21st Century. Throughout the year, participants in the pro- gram will also meet with various Detroit civic leaders to discuss their visions and hopes of the fu- ture.
